By accessing or using DentalATP, creating an account, starting a free trial, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1) About DentalATP

DentalATP is an educational platform for undergraduate dental students that supports learning through self-testing using MCQs, SBAs, SAQs, and Flashcards, organised by subjects, chapters, and topics, with an option to generate customised tests.

2) Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and purchase a subscription. If you are under 18, a parent/guardian must create the account and accept these Terms on your behalf.

3) Account Registration & Security

• You must provide accurate and current information when registering.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately at info@dentalatp.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

4) Licence to Use the Platform (Personal Use Only)

Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use DentalATP for your personal educational use.

You must not:

• Share, sell, sublicense, transfer, or “rent” your account or access.
• Allow multiple people to use one subscription (unless you have a separate written institutional agreement with BM Education FZE).
• Copy, download, scrape, capture, record, reproduce, distribute, publish, or create derivative works from Platform content (including question banks, explanations, or flashcards) except where explicitly permitted by us in writing.
• Bypass paywalls, security controls, or technical restrictions.

5) Free Trial (24 Hours)

New users may receive a one-time 24-hour free trial (“Free Trial”) beginning at the moment the account is created (e.g., when you select “Start Free Trial”).

• The Free Trial provides access to Platform features during the Trial window.
• At the end of 24 hours, access may be restricted unless you start a paid subscription.
• We may modify, refuse, or withdraw Free Trial eligibility to prevent abuse (including repeated Trials using different emails/devices/payment methods).

6) Subscription, Billing & Renewal

Subscription fee: USD 40 per month (unless otherwise shown at checkout). Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis.

• Your subscription starts when your payment is successfully processed.
• Auto-renewal: Unless you cancel before the renewal date, your subscription automatically renews each month and you authorise us (and our payment processor) to charge the applicable fee.
• Taxes: Prices may exclude VAT/sales tax or other government charges that may apply depending on your location and applicable law.
• Currency & payment processing: Charges may appear in local currency depending on your bank/payment provider and may include FX fees imposed by your bank/provider.

7) Cancellation & Access After Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings or the method shown at checkout.
• Cancellation stops future renewals. You will generally retain access until the end of the current billing period (unless your access is terminated earlier under these Terms).

8) Refund Policy

All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer protection laws, or unless we state otherwise in writing.

If you believe you were charged in error, contact info@dentalatp.com with transaction details within 14 days of the charge.

9) Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Upload or transmit malware or harmful code, or attempt unauthorised access.
• Harass, abuse, or harm others.
• Interfere with Platform performance (including automated requests, scraping, or denial-of-service attempts).
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

10) Intellectual Property

All content and materials on DentalATP—including questions, explanations, structure/format, databases, software, design, trademarks, logos, and the Platform itself—are owned by BM Education FZE and/or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

Except for the limited licence in Section 4, no rights are granted to you.

11) User Submissions (If Enabled)

If the Platform allows you to submit content (e.g., feedback, comments, suggestions):

• You grant BM Education FZE a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, adapt, and publish that content for operating and improving the Platform.
• You confirm you have the rights to submit it and it does not infringe third-party rights.

12) Educational Disclaimer (No Clinical Advice)

DentalATP provides educational information only and is not a substitute for professional dental training, clinical supervision, professional judgement, or local guidelines/regulations.

We do not provide medical/dental diagnosis, treatment plans, prescriptions, or patient-specific advice. For clinical decisions, consult qualified faculty/clinicians and follow applicable guidance in your jurisdiction.

13) Platform Availability & Changes

• We aim to keep DentalATP available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.
• We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature, content, or part of the Platform at any time.

14) Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if:

• you breach these Terms (including account sharing or content misuse),
• we suspect fraud, misuse, or abuse of the Free Trial/subscription,
• required by law, or
• necessary to protect the Platform, users, or our rights.

15) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.”
• BM Education FZE is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, business, or goodwill.
• BM Education FZE’s total liability for any claim relating to the Platform will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the one (1) month immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.

16) Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BM Education FZE, its owners, directors, employees, contractors, and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

17) Privacy

Your use of DentalATP is also governed by our Privacy Policy (posted on the Platform). The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal data.

18) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on the Platform with a new effective date. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the revised Terms.

19) Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

Subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules, the courts of Dubai, UAE shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Platform.
