About DentalATP

Bushra Mateen

Founder DentalATP & BM Education

Welcome to DentalATP.

I am Bushra Mateen, an Endodontist based in Dubai, UAE.

Why I built DentalATP

The idea did not start as a "website idea." It started with a problem I kept seeing again and again.

Back in 2020, during the lockdown, we launched our first education venture: BM Endo / BM Education. I completed my undergraduate dental training in Lahore, Pakistan, and later went on to do postgraduate specialist training in Endodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London (UK). After finishing specialist training, I realised how many Endodontists feel overwhelmed when preparing for Royal College specialty membership exams especially with scattered resources, unclear direction, and the pressure of trying to study "everything" without a structured system.

So we built BM Endo to bridge that gap mentoring Endodontic specialists and trainees to successfully complete their Royal College membership exams in the UK.

Fast forward a few years, and BM Education expanded to support Prosthodontists and Orthodontists pursuing their specialty memberships too.

The moment it clicked for undergraduates

As BM Education grew, I also realised something personal: I needed to learn how to manage a growing business properly. That is when I sought business mentorship with my coach Joseph Quero. One of his strongest pieces of advice was simple: connect with more dentists, listen closely, and build in public.

So I started creating bite-sized educational content on social media simple carousels breaking down dental topics.

That is where I began having consistent conversations with undergraduate dental students. And the same pain points kept coming up:

  • The workload is massive, and everything feels urgent.
  • Coursework is scattered across multiple sources notes, handouts, lectures, PDFs, random drives, WhatsApp groups.
  • Students end up paying for multiple subscriptions, yet still feel like they are missing something.
  • A huge amount of time gets wasted collecting and organising resources instead of actually learning.
  • And even after studying, retention is tough because reading alone does not stick.

I kept thinking: If we were able to build a structured, clear pathway for postgraduate candidates… why can undergraduates not have one clear system too?

That is how DentalATP was born.

What DentalATP stands for

Our philosophy is simple:

No fluff. One platform. All your undergraduate dental subjects—together.

DentalATP is built to reduce the chaos. One login, one organised hub for your content, without the burden of juggling multiple subscriptions and constantly hunting for “the right resource.”

And most importantly—DentalATP is built around the method I genuinely believe in for long-term retention:

You do not retain what you read. You retain what you repeatedly test.

That is why we teach through:

  • MCQs
  • SBAs
  • SAQs
  • Flashcards

So as you study a topic in dental school, you can immediately test yourself on DentalATP—then take that learning straight into clinics with more confidence and clarity. The aim is Not just to pass exams, but to become a better, more confident Clinician and Academic.

A final note from me

DentalATP is a passion project, built from listening to students and remembering what it feels like to carry the weight of a demanding undergraduate dental degree.

I truly hope it becomes a tool that makes your dental journey lighter, clearer, and more structured.

And we are always open to feedback—if there is something you want added, improved, or explained better, please reach out. We are building this for you.

Thank you.
